2010 Predictions for the Year of the Metal Tiger

The Tiger is the third sign of the Chinese zodiac, which consists of 12 animals.

Its fearless nature makes the Tiger a symbol of courage. It is the Tiger that is revered in ancient Chinese folklore as a protector; it is believed that displaying its image can help avoid fire and stop thieves and ghosts.

This is a Metal Tiger year which means it will have swiftness in action, speed of thought, and an emotional compulsiveness. It will inspire a competitive nature that will exude certainty. If we set our minds on goals, things will get done.

Tempers can flare this year. This often can lead to burnout, but we will also have a gift of flexibility, and quickly recover from hardships.

One of the big challenges for the Metal Tiger year is temper - things can flare up easily and get out of control. So, in general, it's really a good year to avoid lawsuits.

Metal Tiger's nature looks for the bigger picture which often leads them to happiness and success. The smartest ones wait for the right time, and then pounce on opportunities. We have all grown accustomed to the Ox's slow steady pace; some signs will be really put off by the intensity and swiftness of change.

The Past Five Years

There are some schools that believe the world is in a six-year run of bad luck; we are now in the fifth year of that run. This theory largely comes out the phenomenon that the zodiac animals have all been in the opposition element of their nature (i.e. 2008 was the year of the Fire Rat, but the Rat's natural element is water).

Although there could be some more unlucky conflicts for the world and financial markets, with the Tigers attitude anything is possible and the impossible just might happen during this surprising and exciting time.

A Roller Coaster to Double Happiness?

We will still be in recovery mode from the events of the past few years. This year will be like a roller coaster ride, but with the Tiger in command. If he wishes the tides to shift - everyone listens.

Since this New Year's Tiger begins on the day of the heart, Valentine's Day, it brings with it a kind of "Double Happiness".

We are off to a much brighter start, especially if we put love behind everything we do!

New Astrological Charms for a Prosperous New Year

Traditionally everyone gets a new charm to optimize good fortune, get in alignment with the new energy of the year and symbolize a new beginning every sign carries a three-dimensional Lucky Jade Animal Charm.

For the Year of the Tiger 2010, it is suggested that all of us carry a Pig Charm. The Tiger is the third sign of the Chinese Zodiac and is associated with pouncing on opportunity, strength and flexibility. The PIG is the most compatible sign to the Tiger.

The Master has said, "When the Tiger meets the Pig careers will prosper!"

If you do not resonate with Pig energy (those born under the sign of the Monkey or Snake have a confrontational relationship with the Pig), you may carry a Horse & Dog Combo Charm to serve the same purpose.

These charms will help divert disaster, recognize opportunities, bring blessings and attract wealth.
